Who is Ivarr B.?

…and why the hell should I care?

Ivarr B. (EE-vahr) – he / him – is a pan, polyam, sadistic Leather Daddy, cigar snob, and most of all, a proud member of the Osage Nation. He also served as Mr. Oregon State Leather 2019/2020. His kinky roots started in Oklahoma many years ago but Portland, OR has been home since 2018. He loves to play rough, teach, and hold up mirrors to the Leather and kink communities in the hope of making them better. In the vanilla world, Ivarr is a communications specialist and media producer. In other words, he spends a lot of time thinking about talking, and writing things to say. This applies to Leather and kink much more than you might think.

He has offered in-person workshops across the US and virtual workshops worldwide. His passion is presenting Leather history and experience from a personal perspective and getting Leatherfolx to consider where we go from here. He has also consulted for a plethora of Leather, kink, and LGBTQIA2S+ organizations to help them better represent their communities and grow attendance at events.
His personal Leather journey started in Oklahoma in the mid 80s, when he was just some punk kid as a cast member in a Rocky Horror shadow cast. Although he lost touch with those early roots, he found a home in Leather during his journey of recovery from addiction. Since 2004, he has been involved in the public Leather scene across the Great Plains and, more recently, the Pacific Northwest.

At events, you’re likely to find him enjoying a cigar and a root beer in between workshops. Outside of Leather spaces, he’s probably playing video games, perusing the local cheese shop, or spending time with the other members of House of Redoubt.
